IEET Accreditation:

In our CSIE department, both undergraduate and graduate programs are IEET accredited. IEET accreditation is issued to accredited educational institutions by IEET (Institute of Engineering Education in Taiwan), a non-profit, peer-review process and non-government organization, and IEET is the sole window for contact in issues related to accreditation of engineering and technology education programs in Taiwan. IEET is a member of Washington Accord, Seoul Accord, Sydney Accordand NABEEAIEET has also made a memorandum of understanding with the ABET, inc. of USA and JABEE. As a result, being an IEET certificated institution, the degrees issued by our CSIE department is recognized in many countries. (You can refer to the IEET website for details.)

IEET and our Education Evaluation:

To earn the IEET accreditation, the degree program must pass periodic evaluations by evaluators assigned by IEET. In a way, IEET assures the students in the accredited institution receive quality standard education. The purpose of which is to determine if a degree-granting program meets certain standards of quality. The current Accreditation Criteria can be found in [IEET website]. To conform to the spirit and accordance of IEET, our professors constantly improve their teaching methodology, materials, courses, etc., and the Department uses students’ feedbacks to iteratively improve our course portfolio. Since 2004, IEET has been involved in accreditation of engineering, computing, technical, and architectural education. You will be able to discover our department’s educational objectives and outcomes when you go through our website. Further details can be obtained from the department when such need arises.
