 How to Apply for the Travel Subsidy

You can apply one of two ways:

➔ Through the Ministry of Science and Technology website: https://www.most.gov.tw/

Please note that you must apply 30 days before the month of the event. For example, if the conference is on any day in September, you must apply before August 1 (i.e. the deadline is July 31). After you’ve applied online, print off a copy of the application form and submit it to our institute office to keep on record.

 Travel with an International Airline

➔If you will not be flying with a domestic airline, please complete the Application to Fly with a Foreign Airline and the Stamp Approval Form, and submit them to our institute office.

 

 Claiming the Travel Subsidy

In order to claim the subsidy, you’ll have to complete the requirements below:

➔Upload all reports and required documents or submit them in person within two weeks of returning from the conference overseas. You must also submit a digital copy of these items to our institute office.

Document submission to:

1.     MOST: please upload required documents through MOST’s online system.

2.     FJCU Office of Research and Development: please email all required documents to our office.

 ➔You must submit the items and forms below

1.     Electronic plane ticket and boarding pass stub

2.     Receipt for the plane ticket OR proof of purchase through a travel agency     

3.     Registration receipt for the conference (If you paid with a credit card, please submit a photocopy of your credit card statement.)

Completed Travel Expenses Form (You must submit both hard and digital copies to the institute office)
